The National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia Calls for Film Submissions for the 4th Tbilisi International Archival Film Festival
The National Archives of Georgia will host the 4th Tbilisi International Archival Film Festival from October 21–24, 2025.
The venue of the festival will be the cinema hall of the National Archives of Georgia (address: 1 Vazha-Pshavela Avenue, Tbilisi, Georgia 0160).
The festival’s theme for 2025 is – auteur film.
Participation is open to auteur films that are preserved in Georgian and foreign archives, museums, and other institutions.
Time restriction: one hour. Additionally, organizations taking part in the festival will have the opportunity to give presentations (no longer than 15 minutes).
The panel discussion at the 2025 film festival will focus on cultural heritage digitalization and restoration, accessibility, and outreach, which will provide an opportunity for panelists to share insights, experiences, and perspectives on the importance and challenges of film archiving.
