The National Archives of Georgia holds the fonds of the legislative bodies of the First Democratic Republic of Georgia—the National Council of Georgia (Parliament) and the Constituent Assembly of Georgia. These fonds preserve the original laws, decrees, and subordinate normative acts adopted between 1918 and 1921.

The presented collection includes a selection of those legal acts that had a significant impact on the country's political, economic, and social life.

The collection is divided into two parts: Laws and legal acts adopted by the National Council (Parliament) of Georgia (1918–1919); Laws and legal acts adopted by the Constituent Assembly of Georgia (1919–1921)
