The VII International Scientific Conference of the National Archives will be held with the support of the US Embassy

The Annual International Scientific Conference "Archival Studies, Source Studies - Trends and Challenges" of the National Archives of  Georgia of Ministry of Justice  will be dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Georgia's return to the diplomatic arena in 2022 and will be supported by the US Embassy in Georgia.

US Embassy Cultural Attaché Christopher Anderson visited the National Archives and reviewed archival documents on diplomatic relations between Georgia and the United States, together with Director General of the National Archives Teona Iashvili.

The National Archives holds documents of the first steps in establishing diplomatic relations with the United States, the establishment and development of Georgian-American political relations, the opening of the first US Embassy in Georgia, official visits and meetings of high-ranking officials, and trade and economic cooperation with the United States.

Thesis for the VII International Scientific Conference of the National Archives has started. A separate section dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Georgia's return to the diplomatic space is dedicated to the anniversary date. The conference will be held on September 8-10, 2022. In parallel with the conference, an exhibition will be held at the National Archives to mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Georgia and the United States.
