In cooperation with the National Archives of Georgia, the company "Gepra" and the calligrapher Davit Maisuradze, the upper case of the Georgian military alphabet was created according to the monuments preserved in the National Archives.
The font, which was presented at the National Archives Exhibition Pavilion on Mother Tongue Day, was based on graphemes, or uppercase letters, used in 14th-18th century manuscripts.
The font will greatly assist text designers in implementing new ideas, as well as popularize the centuries-old tradition of decorating Georgian manuscripts.
The font is available for free to any interested person at the following link: https://calligraphy.ge/product/dm-sazedao
