The representatives of the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia participate in the international scientific conference “Russo-Turkish War in 1877-1878 and its outcomes”. The conference has opened today in Batumi.

The event is organized by the Ajara Archives Division and is dedicated to 130 years of reunification of Ajara with Georgia.

The scholars from Bulgaria and Russia will discuss 38 articles during the session.

The special exhibition is held within the conference. The photos of 70-80-ies of 19-th century kept in the NA are on the display in Batumi. The photos include episodes of battles and military units during the Russo-Turkish War in 1877-1878.
