The First Democratic Republic of Georgia” – the exhibition was opened in the National Archive

The exhibition was dedicated to the 105th anniversary of Georgia’s declaration of independence. The exposition “The First Democratic Republic of Georgia” was opened today in the exhibition pavilion at the National Archive of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.

The exhibition presents various materials depicting the history of Georgia from 1918-1921 preserved in the National Archives of Georgia. Among the documents are the Act of Independence, symbols of the First Republic. Sketches of the coat of arms and flag, notes of the national anthem, documents about the solemn celebration on May 26, and archival material depicting the political, social, and cultural life of the country.

The exposition at the exhibition pavilion of the National Archives will last for two month and its viewing is free.
