Memorandum between the National Archives and the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation

A permanent memorandum of cooperation concluded between the National Archives of Georgia and the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia considers the effective usage of historical documents in the field of protection and popularization of cultural heritage.

The memorandum was signed by the General Director of the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation, Nikoloz Antidze and the General Director of the National Archives of Georgia, Teona Iashvili.

In the frames of the memorandum the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation transfers the copies of projects, drafts, paintings preserved at the documentary depository of the Cultural Heritage to the National Archives free of charge.
 
From its side the National Archives of Georgia will provide the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia with the written and visual materials, preserved at the archive, for the implementation of the concrete projects that will show the historical trends of the development of the cultural heritage field in the country.

In this direction by the end of November of the current year the National Archives of Georgia and the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation will implement the first joint project. In the frames of the European Weekly cognitive exhibition and conference "Georgian Modernist Architecture. Urban Development Construction Processes of Country in 1950-1980s".
