"Walking in Garetubani" - Exhibition in the pavilion of the National Archives

The exhibition "Walking in Garetubani" was opened today in the exhibition pavilion of the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.

The exposition contains material about the buildings of cultural and educational institutions in Tbilisi in the second half of the XIX century and the beginning of the XX century, in particular, in the present-day Rustaveli Avenue and its surrounding area, preserved in the National Archives.

The exhibition presents projects, drawings, photos or documentary materials of gymnasiums, museums, theaters, temporary circuses and cinematographic buildings.

The curator of the exhibition is Tamta Shonvadze, an employee of the Scientific Department of the National Archives.

The exhibition will last until October 18, viewing is free.
