The National Archives Celebrated the World Science Day for Peace and Development

The World Science Day – 10 November was celebrated by the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia with the presentation of the project of the Analytical Catalogue of Manuscripts.

At the same time “Anbandidi Gospel” (9th century), the oldest manuscript, preserved at the National Archives of Georgia was exhibited for only one day and it’s available for all interested persons today.

The World Science Day for Peace and Development was established by UNESCO in 2001 and is celebrated annually.

The arrangement was opened by Teona Iashvili, general director of the National Archives; the project was presented by Ketevan Asatiani, head of the Scientific Division.

The event was attended by the Catholicos-Patriarch of all Georgia Ilia II, Minister of Justice Tea Tsulukiani, Tbilisi Mayor David Narmania, other invited guests.
