The unpublished manuscript "Adjaristani" by academician Ivane Javakhishvili has been published by the National Archive of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.

Academic Simon Janashia's personal fonds has a printed copy of the research that is not available to the general public. It is kept in the Central Historical Archive of the National Archives of Georgia.The manuscript containing the original text is preserved in the History Museum of Tbilisi State University. The research includes a review of historical sources about Adjara from the Middle Ages to 1878.

The book was prepared for publication with the support of Tbilisi State University, while historian Levan Jikia from the National Archives' scientific division contributed a foreword.
