The Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Georgia, Maaike van Koldam, visited the National Archives and discussed issues of future cooperation with the General Director, Teona Iashvili.

The ambassador expressed his desire to start the necessary cooperation between the national archives of the Netherlands and Georgia in the direction of restoration of documents, digitization, electronic archives, organization of joint exhibitions.

According to the agreement of the parties, the National Archives will start work to identify archival material depicting the relationship between Georgia and the Netherlands, and together with the Embassy of the Netherlands will prepare an exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
