In the cinema of the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, the Czech film screenings "Discover the Czech film heritage" was opened today with the film "Sins of Love" (Hríchy lásky, 1929) directed by Karel Lamachy.
he feature films from 1929–1977 "Extáze," "The Case of the Novice Butcher," "Daisies" (Sedmokrásky), "Adele hasn't had dinner yet" (Adéla jest nevečeřela), and "Cassandra the cat" (Až příde kocour) will be shown to the Georgian audience for four days, till April 28. In addition, a separate screening of animated films is also aplanned.
The event was introduced by Giorgi Kakabadze, Director of Central Audio-Visual and Film Archive, and Ivana Bursikova, Director of the Czech Center in Georgia.
The film screening program is prepared by the Czech National Film Center. The Czech Center in Tbilisi is the event partner.
