Within the Summer School “First Democratic Republic of Georgia (1918-1921)” exhibition was opened at the exhibition hall of the National Archives of Georgia on July, 19.

The exposition presents the written and photo materials from the period of the First Republic that depicts the events of 1918-21 in Georgia. Among them are minutes of the constituent Assembly of Georgia, photos of the People’s guardsmen, ceremonial parades, visit of the Second International in Georgia, etc.

With the support of Shota Rustaveli National Science foundation the Summer School was opened on July, 17 at the National Archives. The school has 20 listeners, among them 15 foreign and 5 local citizens.

The aim of the project is to acquaint the foreign and the Georgian participants with the political, economic, social and cultural life of the First Democratic Republic of Georgia.

The exhibition will last till July, 23.
