The laboratory of Restoration of the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia has restored 35 257 papers of the archives fonds, 328 photos (6 albums), more than 200 newspapers, 96 technical draughts.
 
Together with the preservation and restoration of the documents the laboratory of Restoration has successfully worked on disinfection of local archives depositories and treated the newly accepted documents.

The restoration of a liturgical book “Gulani” (16th century) including 12 miniatures began last year.

More than 1000 papers of old document’s department were restored in 2012. Among them are: Kings’ deeds, orders, letters; more than 60 (16th -19th centuries) documents of Persian collection and etc.

Together with the written documents the restorers have worked on the photo albums of the 19th century and began restoration of old printed books.
