Joint project of "Imedi Morning" and National Archives of Georgia - "The Independence Chronicles" - started today.

100 years have completed since the creation of the First Republic of Georgia in 2018. The National Archives meet this date with a number of events. Among them is weekly heading in the morning program of TV "Imedi", which serves to familiarize the public with interesting details of Georgian history of 1918-21.

The journalist of “Imedi Morning” Goderdzi Sharashia, in cooperation with the Scientific Department of the National Archives of Georgia, will prepare a heading on the stories and figures of the First Republic of Georgia once per week all year round.

The National Archives preserve rich and diverse documents on the First Republic of Georgia. The new TV heading provides the increased public access to these materials.
