The National Archives of Georgia served more than 50 300 citizens in the first half of 2016.

More than 50 300 citizens used the services of the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia within six months of 2016.

Citizens received 50 200 certificates from central, regional and local archives.

Citizens mostly apply for the following documents: birth, death, marriage, rehabilitation certificates; genealogical and biographical information; documents confirming property rights.

Reference services of the National Archives are available in Public Service Halls, Community Centers, Regional and Local Archives. 

In the same period, 1014 researchers worked in the reading room of the National Archives, 5 of them were foreign citizens. The topics of their research were: the Russian Empire policy in the Caucasus in 1856-1876; Karabakh Khanate in the 19th-20th centuries; Hebrew educational institutions in the 20th century Georgia and etc.
