Request of Luka Razikashvili (Vazha-Pshavela), school teacher of Amtniskhevi to the management of the Society of the Spreading of Literacy among Georgians to send the school the Georgian books. October 9, 1882.

Vazha-Pshavela began his pedagogical activity at the age of 21, immediately after graduating from Gori Pedagogical Seminary, in 1882 in Amtniskhevi (today’s Ghulelebi) school, where he stayed for one year.

On October 5, 1994 UNESCO established the International Teachers Day.
