Around 200 Georgian and international scholars and researchers participated in the three-day conference. The conference promotes new scientific research, fosters close connections between Georgian and international scientists, facilitates the exchange of innovations and experiences, and strengthens the National Archives' scientific cooperation.
Today's event included representatives from the National Archives of Georgia, the National Centre of Manuscripts, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the Giorgi Tsereteli Institute of Oriental Studies, Georgian Technical University, the University of Tokyo, Ilia State University, East European University, the University of Georgia, and Sokhumi State University.
The annual conference, founded in 2016, covers topics such as philology, history, source studies, archival studies, ethnology, and anthropology; art studies; cultural studies; digital aesthetics and design; digital archives and databases; conservation and restoration.
