The National Archives gained more than 100 Photos depicting the History of the Georgia Culture

The rich photo collection of the National Archives of Georgia gained more than 100 photos worth for the Georgian culture.

The photos that represent the negatives and have high quality depict the important events, creation of the writers, painters and musicians acting in Georgia.

Among the persons on the photos are: Mikheil Chikovani, Irakli Ochiauri, Ucha Japaridze, Revaz Laghidze, Guram Batiashvili, Guram Panjikidze, Giga Lortkipanidze, Revaz Tabukashvili, Chabua Amirejibi, Davit Rondeli, Revaz Gabriadze, Mikheil Chiaureli, Otar and Tamaz Chiladze, etc.

Among the negatives are the materials of the solo concert of Alexander Toradze in 1966, as well as the photos of the Marjanishvili Theatre performance “Old Vaudevilles”(with the participation of Vaso Godziashvili), etc
.

The collection consist the photos of Akaki Paghava and Kote Meskhi in group, scenes of the filming location of Leo Esakia film “Nino”.

These photos are accessible for any interested persons through the research rooms.
