The documentary film "The Remnant of a Precious Deed" about the testament of David IV, produced by the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia in 2025, has been published on the National Archives' YouTube channel.

The testament of King David IV, preserved in the National Archives, was composed in 1123-1124, prior to his military campaign in Shirvan, and holds exceptional significance in the historiography of Georgia.

In the documentary, Ketevan Asatiani, the head of the Scientific Department of the National Archives and the film's author, along with historians Mamuka Tsurtsumia, Temo Jojua, Mzia Surguladze, and Giorgi Otkhmezuri (archival recording), discuss the historical context and circumstances surrounding the drafting of David IV's testament. They explore the important details this document preserves about the king’s character and his actions.
