A collection of illustrations about Georgia published in the French magazine L'Illustration Journal Universel has become available on the website of the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.

The famous periodical L'Illustration Journal Universel has been published in Paris since 1843. An article about Georgia was repeatedly published in a weekly magazine. In the first stage, the authors wrote articles about our country with drawings by Gregory Gagarin, later the works of other authors appeared in the popular European edition.
