The foreign participants of the second Tbilisi International Festival of Archival Films visited the Central Archive of Film Photographic Documents of the National Archive of Georgia.
Giorgi Kakabadze, the director of the Central Audio-Visual and Film Archives, and the archive staff visited the film projection space, the necessary equipment for film scanning and restoration, the reading room, and the audio studio to the representatives of the film archives and film museums of the USA, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Estonia, Bulgaria, and Germany, and also introduced them to the ongoing projects in the archive.
The second Tbilisi International Archival Film Festival was opened on October 4, 2023, and will continue until October 7, 2023, in the cinema of the National Archive of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. 38 feature, documentary, and animated films from 15 countries are presented on it. The foreign guests of the festival will present their own program to the Georgian audience.
