Manana Chumburidze, an Employee of The National Archives of Georgia, Honored for Her Extensive and Distinguished Service within the Ministry of Justice System

At the initiative of the Minister of Justice, Anri Okhanashvili, Manana Chumburidze, an employee of the National Archive, was honored for her long and distinguished service within the Ministry of Justice system. On the occasion of Mother’s Day, she was congratulated by the First Deputy Minister of Justice, Levan Kharanauli and Deputy Minister of Justice, Beka Dzamashvili.

Manana Chumburidze has been faithfully serving the archive for 60 years. She heads the Department of Ancient Documents, which houses materials dating from the 9th to the 18th centuries. Among these invaluable records is the oldest document preserved in the National Archive—the 9th-century “Anbandidi Gospel”.
