In connection with the 105th anniversary of the declaration of independence of Georgia, the exposition “The First Democratic Republic of Georgia” will be opened in the exhibition pavilion of the National Archive of the Ministry of Justice on May 24.
The exhibition of Georgia will present diverse materials preserved in the National Archives of the Republic of Georgia that reflect the history of Georgia in 1918-1921.
Among the documents are the symbols of the First Republic – the act of independence, sketches of the coat of arms and the flag, notes of the anthem – as well as documents about the solemn celebration of May 26 and archival material depicting the political, public, and cultural life of the country.
In addition, the visitor will see models of weapons from the period of the First Republic.
The exhibition is free.
