Exhibition "100 Years of Lithuanian Representation in Transcaucasia" was held at the Exhibition Pavilion of the National Archives Georgia from February, 25 to March, 17, 2019
Event were organized by the Embassy of Lithuania to Georgia, the National Archives of Georgia and the Central State Archives of Lithuania.
The exhibition featured archival documents of the activities of the Lithuanian representation in the Transcaucasia, preserved in the National Archives of Georgia and the Central State Archives of Lithuania, as well as archive documents reflecting the work of the two countries, the political development of the two countries, state symbols, work of the first governments, as well as the Acts of Restoration of the Independence of the Republics of Georgia and Lithuania.
100 years ago, in January 1919, the Lithuanian Mission officially started operating in Tbilisi. It was a difficult and challenging time for both countries. The State of Lithuania became Pranas Dailide in the Transcaucasia.
