The exhibition "Three Types of the Georgian Alphabet" was held in December 2016 at the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia on the ocassion of inscribing the ongoing tradition of coexistence of the "Living Culture of Three Writing Systems of the Georgian Alphabet"- Asomtavruli, Mkhedruli and Nuskhuri scripts in UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
The exposition featured the originals and photocopies of manuscripts and historical documents written with Asomtavruli, Nuskhuri and Mkhedruli, reflecting all three stages of the development of the Georgian alphabet.
At the exhibition, the visitors saw both the documents issued by the Georgian Kings and Catholicos-Patriarchs, as well as the precious manuscripts containing palimpsest sheets and miniatures. Among them: Anbandidi Gospel (9th century), Miniature Gospel of the 12th-13th centuries, as well as miniature Prayer Book, Hymnographic Collection, Palimpsest Gospel, Hymns for Lent and Apostle, Giorgi Eristavi's “Gakra” (Divorce) (19th century), David Tumanishvili's Historical Collection (19th century), deeds issued by the Kings: George II, David IV the Builder, Tamar, Lasha-George; Documents of Arsen Chkondideli-Mtsignobartukhutsesi, Catholicos Anton I and others.
