Competence of the Department:

• The purchases of the material-technical equipment for the normal functioning of the system of the National Archives, in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Georgia on State Procurement;
• The purchase of all types of services required for the normal functioning of the National Archives; 
• Preparation of state procurement contracts; 
• Selection of the individuals and legal entities supplying materials and services, material-technical equipments,  required for the normal functioning of the National Archives, and conducting the respective agreements with them;
• Declare and conduct of price quoted procedures and tender; 
• Comparison of the requirements of the agreement with the provided material-technical means, consumables and services; 
• Conducting the Act of Acceptance respective with the delivery of the vendors of the National Archives;
• Organization of the meetings of the tender commission of the National Archives.
